Date announced for 26th awards of the London Film Critics’ Circle

Awards bestowed by the London Film Critics’ Circle to recognise and encourage talent and creativity in film are to be presented at a star-studded, charity ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel in London on February 8 2006.
Money raised from the event will go to the NSPCC.
In recent years the awards have been attended by stars including Sir Michael Caine, Nicole Kidman, Ewan McGregor, Dame Helen Mirren, Halle Berry, Martin Scorsese, Cate Blanchett, Minnie Driver, Hugh Grant and Kate Winslet.
This year’s ceremony will be hosted by broadcaster Mariella Frostrup and Critics' Circle Film Section chairman John Marriott.
