Jampro Completes Multi Channel UHF TV Slot Antenna for KTVK
Jampro Antennas, recently completed construction of a multi-channel UHF TV Slot antenna for KTVK-TV, the nation’s number one independent television station located in Phoenix.
The antenna will serve KTVK-TV’s channel’s 38, 48 and 42.
Jampro was the ideal choice for this project due to the Company’s proven ability to develop the required pattern for multiple channels using a top mounted slot antenna capable of documenting the azimuth performance on its full-scale test range. Full-scale range testing to minimise the effects of the tower support structure allows for optimal coverage of the target markets and to best replicate the azimuth performance of the side-mounted UHF system.
The multi-channel antenna is part of Jampro’s Prostar Series of UHF Slot systems. These systems have been in production and use throughout the world for more than 30 years. Their weight and wind load characteristics make the series an obvious choice for side-mounted or top mounted arrays.
