VDS release workflow utility plug-ins for Quantel's Q products

VDS, one of the leading developers of broadcast automation software, content design applications and plug-in products, has announced the release of three new workflow utility plug-ins, reQuest, reConnect, and psdQ for Quantel’s Q range of products.
VDS's reQuest 3.3 provides the Quantel generationQ range operator with a full suite of file transfer/conversion tools. With reQuest, file interchange between generationQ and products like Pinnacle Thunder/Lightning, Legacy Quantel Systems, or Photoshop has never been easier. Cross platform compatibility is assured as reQuest is supported in the iQ, gQ, eQ, QPaintbox, the Pro Range, and QEffects environments.
reQuest makes the task of transferring files simple and intuitive. In addition, reQuest supports the updating of database descriptive information where applicable, allowing the generationQ operator to create or update metadata remotely.
reConnect gives the Quantel Q range the ability to browse, import, and export image files to and from Quantel legacy systems with Picturenet Plus, such as Paintbox, Picturebox, Hal, Henry, Editbox and Pictureframe. A great low cost utility for those not requiring the full feature set of reQuest.
psdQ gives the Quantel Q range the ability to browse, import and export Photoshop (psd) files, including importing PS layers.
