ZONE VISION AND MTV EUROPE RENEW CONTRACT

ZONE Vision, the London-based thematic channel producers and distributors, have renewed their existing representation contract with MTV Europe for a further five years.
The re-negotiated contract incorporates new territories and new channels, the four digital channels that were launched in the UK one year ago. Under the current deal between the two companies, Zone Vision will negotiate the carriage of MTV Europe and VH1 Export across Eastern Europe.
Commenting on the deal, Chris Wronski, Zone Vision President and CEO said: “We are delighted to renew our long standing relationship with one of ours longest and oldest clients. And we look forward to introducing MTV and its new digital channels into new territories.”
The channels to be represented are, MTV Europe, MTV Base, MTV Extra, MTV 2, VH1 Export and VH1 Classic.
MTV, a wholly owned and operated by MTV Networks a unit of Viacom Inc, were the first channel to use Zone Cable & Satellite's representation service to successfully penetrate the Central & Eastern European market.
