PINNACLE ENHANCE COMMOTION FOR MAC OS X
PINNACLE Systems, developers of digital video content creation tools, have announced the support of Apple’s new Mac OS X for Commotion.
With its support for Mac OS X, Pinnacle systems can offer Commotion users a set of new features that include specific enhancements for OS X not found on other platforms.
The Mac OS X set features full carbon support. This includes use of the carbon library and specific reworking of the user interface to conform to Apple’s Aqua user interface guidelines. It also features OpenGL Optimisations, multi-processor support and altivec support.
Sean Safreed, Senior Product Manager at Pinnacle Systems, said: “We are excited to be able to offer OS X support to our Commotion customers. The new features offer incredible performance benefits, underlining the strengths of the Commotion product and giving the user more power and flexibility.” (CMcL)
