KEYFRAME DESIGN AND PRODUCE SEQUENCE FOR SKY ONE
Keyframe of Leeds have announced that they have designed and produced the 20 second title sequence for Sky One's documentary about the work of one of the pop industry's top choreographers, Paul Domaine.
The show followed Domaine as he helped stars such as ‘Westlife’, ‘Steps’, ‘Five’ and Martin McCutcheon to create dance routines for their stage acts and pop videos.
Keyframe's Stu Houchin designed the animated sequence which featured specially shot live-action dancers which were treated to create dancing outlines and silhouettes. These were then composited with treated footage from the programme along with graphic and text elements.
The whole sequence was then animated to the beat of the music to create an energetic, funky feel that echoed the subject matter. The show, entitled ‘Five Steps with The Stars’, was produced for Sky by Daisybeck Productions. (CD)
