EYETRONICS SIGN DEAL WITH MCMILLAN UK
EYETRONICS have signed an agreement with McMillan UK for distribution of 3D scanning solutions in the UK and Ireland.
Eyetronics' core product is the ShapeSnatcher Suite, a software package that transforms an average slide projector and a decent digital camera into a sophisticated 3D scanning and modelling system. The software is used for broadcasting, game development, industrial and other applications.
Ian McMillan, President of McMillan UK, said: "ShapeSnatcher brings a new ease of use, convenience and low-cost to 3D scanning and modelling. It is complementary to the other products we offer our customers, all of which are designed to cost-effectively increase creativity and productivity."
The selection of Eyetronics by McMillan is a strong validation of the company's technology, according to Eyetronics Chief Executive and Technical Officer Dr. Marc Proesmans.
Eyetronics was established in February 1998 in Leuven, Belgium. The company has a sales office in Los Angeles and distributors worldwide. (CD)
