VOCAS DISTRIBUTION BY PYSER-SGI

PYSER-SGI have been appointed distributor for the Vocas range of matte boxes and television production accessories, covering mainland UK and Ireland.
Vocas products handled by Pyser-SGI include the MB-300 and MB-320 matte boxes and the ZiF digital zoom, iris and focus controller.
The matte boxes feature quick-lock attachment or parallel bar mounting and are supplied with an adapter ring. Strong construction due to the use of a carbon fibre composite hood material also results in lighter weight. Two filter trays, independently rotating in the MB-320, accommodate 4x4” through 4.5x6” filters (ideal for use with a graduated and polarising filter together). A wide range of accessories is available including lens adapter rings, Z-bar adapter and transit case. Custom filter frames can be supplied.
The ZiF digital lens controller is compatible with all popular lens types, mounting on virtually all pan bars, and is designed with today’s ENG/EFP and sports productions in mind. Using ergonomic design and advanced 24 bit DSP electronics, the user can control either zoom/focus, or zoom/iris with one hand. All standard functions such as VTR start/stop, return video, zoom/focus direction and speed are all built in to the controller.
