Lightware And HRE Strike US Live Events Distribution Deal

Lightware has confirmed a new US distribution partnership with HRE, extending a long-running relationship built on HRE’s hands-on use of Lightware equipment at high-profile shows.

Under the agreement, HRE will supply Lightware products to the live event AV rental market and to project-based deployments nationwide.

Lightware said it chose HRE for its practical expertise with the company’s systems and its deep understanding of the surrounding technologies. HRE brings more than 20 years’ experience spanning routing and switching, image processing, screen switching, high‑resolution video and media servers.

The HRE team delivers rental packages, system design and on‑site show support for large‑screen and multiscreen productions, providing a real‑world perspective on how equipment must perform from planning to showtime.

According to Lightware, its solutions have underpinned live‑event signal management for more than two decades. The MX2 matrix switcher range offers HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 models supporting full 4K at 60Hz with 4:4:4 colour, alongside Advanced EDID Management and Pixel Accurate Reclocking. Already part of HRE’s rental inventory, MX2 gives production crews flexible tools to manage complex signal paths reliably.
