Manfrotto Launches ONE Video Tripod System

Manfrotto has expanded its ONE system with the release of ONE Video, a dedicated support platform engineered for video production. Building on the existing ONE Hybrid and ONE Photo models, the new system combines rapid setup, fluid movement, and modular control to support videographers and filmmakers.

Alongside the new tripod system, Manfrotto is also introducing the 502X Fluid Video Head, a new video head designed for creators and filmmakers who require greater payload capacity and more precise fluid control.

Designed and built in Italy, the ONE Video Aluminium Tripod combines portability with the stability required for professional video production. Its distinctive non-round leg profile improves torsional rigidity, helping maintain stability during panning movements while remaining lightweight and easy to transport.

The tripod features Manfrotto's patented XTEND mechanism, allowing all leg sections to deploy simultaneously in a single movement for faster setup and height adjustment. Designed specifically for video production, ONE Video incorporates an integrated levelling system that enables creators to achieve precise horizon alignment in seconds, eliminating guesswork and helping ensure level shots without interrupting the flow of production. Adjustable leg angles and modular feet provide dependable support across a wide range of shooting environments, while integrated Easy Link connections allow monitors, lights, microphones, and other accessories to be mounted directly to the tripod.

ONE Video is available with a choice of two fluid video heads (500X and the new 502X), allowing creators to select the configuration best suited to their production requirements.

The 500X Fluid Head is designed for mirrorless creators who need smooth movement, fast adjustment, and flexible framing. Its Fluid Drag System delivers controlled pan and tilt movement, while a hinged camera plate makes it easy to switch between landscape and portrait orientations, supporting the growing demand for vertical video production. The built-in selectable counterbalance system, optimised for cameras weighing 2.4 kg at a 55 mm centre of gravity, helps maintain balance and control during shooting.

For creators working with larger camera systems, the new 502X Fluid Video Head offers increased payload capacity and enhanced control. Supporting camera systems up to 8 kg, the 502X features Manfrotto's Variable Continuous Fluid Drag System on both pan and tilt axes, providing smooth, precise movement across a wide range of professional video applications. Its counterbalance system, optimised for 4.4 kg at a 55 mm centre of gravity, helps maintain stability while reducing operator effort during extended shoots.

Both heads feature Manfrotto's side-lock camera plate mechanism with top attachment for fast camera mounting and balancing, and both are fully compatible with the XCHANGE quick release ecosystem, enabling rapid transitions between tripods, sliders, dollies, and other support systems without tools.
