Dalet Joins IBC 2026 Accelerator Programme

Dalet is set to participate in the IBC2026 Accelerator Media Innovation Programme, collaborating with a group of technology and media organisations to explore how agentic artificial intelligence could transform live sports and other media production.

The project, titled 'AI for Live Sports and Beyond: Rewiring Live Media via Agentic AI Orchestration and ‘meCast', brings Dalet together with Astro Malaysia, Middle East Broadcasting Company (MBC), Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), AWS, ITV, Google Cloud and other industry partners.

The demonstration will be located in Hall 14 at Stand 14.D25 in the Future Tech Zone and will examine how agentic AI can automate live media workflows while enabling real-time content adaptation, personalisation and new opportunities for monetisation.

As part of the project, Dalet will demonstrate how its media-aware AI platform, Dalia, works alongside Dalet Flex and Dalet InStream to orchestrate live workflows from ingest through AI-powered analysis, compliance checks and publishing.

The technology is intended to help sports organisations accelerate production while maintaining editorial oversight and governance.

The ability to quickly create, personalise and distribute live content is increasingly important for sports organisations, broadcasters, leagues and rights holders seeking to increase audience engagement and generate additional revenue.

Dalet already provides media workflows for sports customers, supporting areas including highlight creation, content discovery, content repurposing and multi-platform publishing.

The IBC2026 Accelerator project will build on these capabilities by examining how AI can orchestrate complex live production workflows while keeping human operators in control.

The demonstration forms part of Dalet's wider presence at IBC2026, where the company will showcase developments across Dalet Flex, Dalet Pyramid and Dalia.

Visitors will be able to see applications focused on modernising production and content supply chains, accelerating news workflows, improving content discovery and supporting sports production through AI-assisted highlight creation, intelligent media management and automated publishing.

Dalet will also demonstrate its open, media-aware AI architecture, which is designed to allow media organisations to deploy AI while retaining governance and operational control. The platform supports multiple large language models, giving users flexibility in how AI is deployed across their operations.

Dalet will exhibit at IBC2026 in Hall 7, Stand A43, alongside its participation in the Accelerator demonstration in Hall 14.
