Sonuscore Launches New Cinematic Expansion Packs

Sonuscore has announced the release of two new expansion packs for its composition platform The Score, introducing new cinematic tools for professional composers and music creators.

The new expansions, Cinematic Motion and Ethereal Flows, each add 28 new “Stories” to The Score platform, marking the first major content expansion since version 1.2 of the software.

According to Sonuscore, the two packs are designed to explore contrasting cinematic moods and scoring approaches, with one focusing on action and tension while the other targets atmospheric and emotional composition.

Cinematic Motion is aimed at composers working on action-driven orchestral scoring, offering rhythmic underscore, orchestral textures, trailer-style percussion and hybrid electronic elements designed to create energy and momentum beneath melodic themes.

Ethereal Flows, by contrast, focuses on softer and more emotional cinematic textures, using instruments including piano, harp, celesta, strings and ambient pads to create evolving atmospheric soundscapes for dramatic and reflective scenes.

Each expansion includes 28 Stories, featuring four KeySwitch arrangement variations and 10 interconnected instruments designed to function as cohesive scoring frameworks.

Sonuscore said the packs are intended as professional composition tools that provide structural and harmonic support while leaving the creative composition process entirely in the hands of the user.

The company added that both expansions require the base version of The Score and are designed as specialist content additions rather than standalone instruments.
