VITEC Showcases IPTV, Streaming And Digital Signage Innovations
VITEC, a leader in IPTV, video streaming, and digital signage solutions, will present a range of hardware and platform innovations at NAB 2026 from April 18–22 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (Booth W1943).
The showcase will highlight the latest developments across VITEC’s ecosystem, including the upcoming Diamond-IP OG encoder, the EZ TV v8.5 platform, the X-Player end point range, and the compact X-View Integrated Display series.
"NAB provides a fantastic opportunity to connect with our partners and demonstrate how VITEC continues to innovate across IPTV, streaming, and digital signage," said Colin Farquhar, SVP Sales at VITEC. "This year, we're highlighting a combination of powerful software advancements and flexible hardware solutions that help organizations deliver high-quality video content reliably and at scale across broadcast, enterprise, and venue environments."
Diamond-IP OG Encoder
A key highlight is the Diamond-IP OG, VITEC’s upcoming high-density, openGear-compatible encoder for modern IP contribution workflows. The system supports native SMPTE ST 2110 ingestion with ST 2022‑7 hitless redundancy and NMOS integration, capturing either a single 4K60p feed or up to four HD feeds over 25G SFP interfaces, then encoding them into multiple H.265 or H.264 streams. The encoder also supports leading transport protocols such as Zixi, SRT, RIST, and Pro-MPEG, ensuring low-latency, reliable streaming across diverse network environments.
EZ TV v8.5 Platform
VITEC will present EZ TV v8.5, the latest version of its IPTV and digital signage platform, which introduces enhanced scalability, usability, and security. Updates include a redesigned Dynamic Data interface for signage creation, improved support for large-scale deployments, a new IPTV-only synchronization mode for optimized playback, AI-powered object detection in the media library, and expanded role-based access controls via full Active Directory integration.
X-Player and X-View Solutions
The X-Player family of endpoints will also be showcased, including the XP2526, featuring a built-in SFP interface for fiber connectivity, and the outdoor-ready XP2650 for demanding environments. Both models ensure reliable playback for IPTV and digital signage applications.
Additionally, the X-View Integrated Display range combines display and media playback in compact all-in-one screens, simplifying installations for corporate, venue, and hospitality environments.
Video Wall and Hybrid Networking Support
For the first time at NAB, VITEC will demonstrate VSN video wall controllers, enabling seamless integration between IPTV streams and video wall setups in control rooms, sports venues, and corporate command centers. The company will also highlight interoperability with Actelis hybrid networking solutions, allowing IPTV and digital signage services to run over existing coaxial networks and support hybrid IP/coax infrastructures without costly cabling upgrades.
VITEC's full ecosystem of streaming, IPTV, and digital signage solutions will be on display at Booth W1943, providing attendees hands-on demonstrations of the company’s latest hardware and software innovations.
