NBC Sports Selects Rocket Surgery for Milan Cortina 2026 Virtual Graphics

NBC Sports has appointed Ross Video's Rocket Surgery RSVP to provide virtual and augmented reality elements for its coverage of the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics (6–22 February) and Paralympics (6–15 March).

With Milan and Cortina sharing a time zone with Paris, NBCUniversal will follow a similar blueprint to its widely watched and acclaimed Paris 2024 presentation: marquee events live on NBC during the day; every event streaming live on Peacock; an enhanced prime-time show, Primetime in Milan, spotlighting major moments and athletes; extensive output across cable and digital platforms; and the return of Gold Zone and Multiview on Peacock.

The Opening Ceremony from San Siro Stadium in Milan will be shown live on Friday 6 February on NBC and Peacock. The event marks NBCUniversal's 20th Olympic Games and 13th consecutive edition. The company holds U.S. media rights across all platforms to every Olympic Games through 2036, including Milan Cortina (2026), Los Angeles (2028), the French Alps (2030), Brisbane (2032), Utah (2034) and the as-yet-unawarded 2036 Games.

Rocket Surgery will field creative and technical teams in Milan, Cortina and Stamford and work closely with spidercam to deliver immersive on-air AR and virtual graphics, aiming to bring the atmosphere of the Italian Games to viewers across the United States.
