MLV Teams Up With LTN
Major League Volleyball (MLV) is partnering with LTN to power live video production and distribution for its largest broadcast slate to date, delivering 50 matches across national networks, streaming platforms and local stations in 2026.
The deal comes one year after the unification of MLV and the Pro Volleyball Federation, a move that reshaped the women's professional volleyball landscape in the United States. The 2026 campaign will be the league's third season and follows a year in which broadcast coverage grew by 350%.
LTN will once again serve as MLV's live production and distribution partner, providing on-site and remote production, customised live event services and intelligent video transport to support the league’s widest media rollout yet.
"We're kicking off a milestone season for MLV with new energy, closer fan connection and our widest broadcast coverage to date," said Rob Carolla, Vice President, Public & Media Relations at MLV. "LTN has been a vital part of our growth journey, advancing our production quality, working across any venue and enabling new graphics and viewing features to enhance the fan experience – all while simplifying customization and distribution for multiple rights partners."
MLV will use LTN's multi-camera production and remote transmission capabilities to enable centralised production from LTN's technical operations center in Kansas City. LTN will manage the full production workflow, including announcer integration, audio mixing, replays, graphics insertion and playout, with signals transported over its global IP network.
"We're seeing huge growth in a new generation of dynamic, innovation-first sports leagues," said Bryan McGuirk, Chief Revenue Officer at LTN. "With rights models evolving and demand for live events surging, MLV is a standout example of how sports organizations can harness agile production models and purpose-built IP distribution to enhance reach and monetisation."
The expanded 2026 season builds on a strong 2025 performance, when LTN supported more than 45 linear broadcast matches and 70 live digital events, generating 4.7 million YouTube views and delivering an All-Star Match that drew 455,000 viewers on CBS. LTN also supported the league’s annual draft of collegiate players, which aired live on the Roku Sports Channel for the first time and was produced remotely from its Kansas City facility.
This season, MLV will introduce new fan-facing technologies, including real-time ball tracking to improve officiating and analytics, and enhanced on-screen visuals such as ball speed and jump height metrics, debuting on CBS Sports broadcasts. Several teams, including the Indy Ignite, will also begin airing both home and away games in their local markets outside of national windows.
MLV's 2026 media partners include CBS Sports, the Roku Sports Channel, ION — which holds exclusive rights to the championship finals — and VICE, both new partners this season. The league's second All-Star Match will air live on CBS and Paramount+, while additional games will stream on MLV's YouTube channel and through team-specific local market agreements.
