Marshall Electronics To Showcase VMV-402-3GSH Seamless 4X Switch

Marshall Electronics is unveiling its VMV-402-3GSH Seamless 4X Switch at ISE 2026, where the company is exhibiting at Booth 4N900.

The compact 1RU unit is designed for presentation systems, control rooms, and remote production environments, offering seamless switching between four selectable inputs with integrated scaling and a feature set aimed at both AV and broadcast users.

The VMV-402-3GSH supports four 3G/HD/SD-SDI inputs, with Inputs 1 and 2 also accommodating HDMI sources. The switch provides simultaneous SDI and HDMI outputs, enabling HDMI to be used for local monitoring while SDI transmits signals up to 100 meters. The SDI output supports resolutions up to 1080p60, and the HDMI output can be scaled up to UHD at 3840x2160.

Built for flexible deployment, the 1RU chassis is suited to both rackmount installations and portable "throw-down box" configurations. An internal scaler allows the unit to accept mixed input formats and frame rates, automatically conforming all sources to a single output format and frame rate.

Additional features include a full-time quadview available via HDMI so operators can monitor all four inputs at once, waveform overlay, and both up- and down-scaling of resolution and frame rate. The VMV-402-3GSH can be configured through a browser-based Ethernet interface without the need for special applications, and users can control input selection and quadview labeling via Ethernet or RS232. This integration capability makes the switch well suited for environments using Crestron® or similar control systems.
