Cinegy To Showcase Latest Software-Defined Video Solutions

News Image
Cinegy will present its newest professional video technologies at ISE 2026 in Barcelona as it continues to expand its footprint in the professional AV sector.

The company will exhibit at Stand 5B600 at Fira de Barcelona from 3 to 6 February, following a successful debut at last year's show. Cinegy says demand is growing among enterprise, government, corporate and live event customers for broadcast-grade reliability delivered without the limitations of traditional broadcast infrastructure.

Visitors to the stand will see the latest features across Cinegy's software portfolio, including the recently released Cinegy Multiviewer 25.12. The update introduces Intel GPU acceleration alongside existing NVIDIA support, giving customers greater hardware choice for multi-format monitoring. It also adds enhanced DVB subtitle handling and improved NDI synchronisation.

Also on display will be Cinegy Capture 25.10, released in November 2025, which includes HEVC 10-bit encoding on AMD GPUs and refined NDI source handling to improve audio and video synchronisation. The system supports simultaneous multi-format recording, removing the need for separate transcoding systems and simplifying workflows for corporate and live event production.

The company will also highlight Cinegy Air, its flagship playout platform designed to scale from single-channel corporate communications to full multi-channel broadcast environments. Built on standard IT infrastructure, Cinegy Air offers automated playout, integrated graphics, AI-driven real-time subtitles and multi-format output without the need for proprietary hardware.

Cinegy said the regular release of new features across its products underlines the advantage of software-defined systems, allowing customers to upgrade through software updates rather than replacing hardware.

"The professional AV market increasingly needs broadcast-grade reliability and performance, but without the legacy constraints that traditional broadcast carries," said Jan Weigner, CTO of Cinegy. "Our software-defined approach delivers exactly that – proven technology running on standard IT hardware, with the flexibility to adapt as requirements change."

The company said its growing presence across enterprise, government, corporate communications and live events reflects the increasing convergence of broadcast and AV around IP-based, software-defined workflows.

Cinegy will be exhibiting at ISE 2026, Stand 5B600.
