Martin Audio Appoints Tech Ease Systems As East And Central Africa Distributor

News Image
Martin Audio has formally appointed Tech Ease Systems as its full distributor across several East and Central African markets, strengthening a partnership that has been in place for several years.

The move follows a long-standing trading relationship between the two companies, with Tech Ease Systems promoting the Martin Audio brand across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Burundi since 2018. Founded by systems consultant Vincent Kasule, the Kampala-based company had previously operated as an informal reseller throughout the region.

Kasule said the relationship has allowed the brand to grow steadily in visibility while also addressing issues such as counterfeit products in the market. He noted that opportunities in the region have continued to mature, particularly as demand for higher-quality audio solutions increases.

Martin Audio EMEA Account Manager Andy Duffield confirmed that Tech Ease Systems has now officially taken on distributor status for the territories, with immediate effect.

According to Kasule, the regional market has experienced a strong recovery since the COVID-19 pandemic, driven by music’s central role in African cultural life. He said demand is growing rapidly, particularly in the House of Worship and rental sectors, pointing to strong long-term prospects.

With its headquarters in Kampala and staff operating across the wider region, Tech Ease Systems plans to build on the partnership by expanding access to Martin Audio’s larger-format systems to support major concerts featuring both international and local artists. The company is also in discussions with partners in Kenya and DR Congo to further strengthen inventory and availability, with additional agreements expected in 2026.

Plans are also underway to host local and regional open days, alongside educational marketing and demonstration sessions, to extend outreach across the territories. In parallel, Tech Ease Systems has been working closely with Martin Audio’s Product Support Group on virtual training, with in-person training expected to begin next year.

Martin Audio products will sit alongside other British brands in Tech Ease Systems’ distribution portfolio, including Allen & Heath and DiGiCo, a combination Kasule believes will create strong synergies in the market.

Duffield said the decision to formalise the agreement was a natural progression following years of collaboration. He praised Tech Ease Systems for its technical expertise, proactive sales and marketing efforts, and customer-focused approach, adding that the partnership has already delivered significant gains in brand awareness across Central and Eastern Africa.

Both companies said the agreement is expected to deliver greater product availability, stronger technical support and sustained growth across the region.
