TikTok Launches Bulletin Board

News Image
TikTok has launched Bulletin Board, a new in-app feature designed to give creators a direct and efficient way to reach their audiences.

The tool functions as a one-to-many broadcast feed, allowing creators to share updates, exclusive content, announcements, and other important messages with followers in a streamlined, dedicated space.

During its beta phase, Bulletin Board was adopted by a diverse mix of creators — from musicians and publishers like People magazine to sports teams such as Paris Saint-Germain — who used it to keep fans informed and engaged. Musicians, for example, can promote new singles or albums, encourage fans to pre-save upcoming releases, and seamlessly connect those posts to the 'Add to Music App' feature, enabling listeners to save tracks directly to their preferred streaming service.

To start a bulletin board, creators can simply go to their inbox and select create a bulletin board. They can click the 'Show on profile' setting on or off to change the visibility of their bulletin board. Creators can then select 'Create' to open the bulletin board. In addition, creators can also choose a unique name for their bulletin board.

To join a creator's bulletin board, simply go to that creator's profile page, and click the bulletin board's name under the creator's bio. After a follower chooses to join a creator's bulletin board, they will receive notifications in their inbox whenever that creator posts, to which they can react with emojis, making it a simple, streamlined way for creators to communicate at scale.

Just like everything on TikTok, all content must adhere to our Community Guidelines, which we enforce using a combination of technology and human moderators. Our safety tools for muting, blocking, and reporting users and content are available within bulletin board to help keep communities safe and positive.
