DirectOut Focuses On Interoperability And Third Party Integrations

DirectOut has announced its focus on interoperability and third-party integrations at this year's International Broadcast Conference (IBC).
Visitors to stand 8.D65 will not only discover the latest innovations and updates, they will also experience a series of technical showcases and collaborative sessions with renowned industry partners. The sessions will highlight DirectOut's open approach, showcasing the efficient, reliable, and flexible workflows across diverse production environments that DirectOut's seamless integration is known for throughout the broadcast industries.
Among the companies joining DirectOut at IBC 2025 are BFE, EVS, Lawo, NEP, NetOn.Live, RTW and Skaarhoj. Each will present practical use-cases and integrations with DirectOut solutions, demonstrating how broadcasters can benefit from streamlined interoperability in real-world scenarios. Nicolas Sturmel, Senior Network Technologist at DirectOut, will also be joining to talk about how the professional audio industry faces cyber security challenges.
Alongside greater industry collaboration, DirectOut is also excited to showcase a range of technical updates across its portfolio. Highlights include the HOME and OSC integration for PRODIGY.MX, bringing greater flexibility and efficiency to networked audio control, while an OOB Control Update enables out of band access to the WebUI for RAV Modules.
PRODIGY.MP received an update for its DSP functions, adding Automatic Gain Control and Ducker to the Dynamics section. The versatile Dual Network Audio (DNA) Modules will also be available for visitors to experience, plus the MAVEN platform, with its newest feature updates.
A preview of DirectOut's newly developed Companion Plug-in gives a sneak peek of an exciting development to streamline user interaction with DirectOut systems. The Plug-in offers straightforward integration for, for example, third party devices such as Stream Deck Controllers.
DirectOut's focus on third-party integration underscores the company’s ongoing mission to provide flexible, interoperable, and resilient audio solutions that adapt to the rapidly evolving demands of the broadcast industry.
