GRANADA CONTENT APPOINT TWO NEW ‘IDEAS EXPERTS’

GRANADA CONTENT have bolstered their team of ‘ideas experts’, The Greenhouse Project, with the appointment of Clare Thompson and Celina Parker.
Building on the success of The Greenhouse Project’s ‘Boot Camp’ format – which dominated the US ratings with its debut in the States - the team has been increased from three members to five.
Despite an extensive trawl of the TV industry, both the successful candidates were recruited from Granada.
Thompson has worked for Granada TV since April 2000, most recently as a Development Producer for Factual Entertainment. She has also worked as a Producer/ Director for Granada TV on shows which include ‘I’ve Got The Music In Me’, which she devised.
Before joining Granada, she worked for a variety of independent production companies, including Chrysalis, Pacific, Tiger Aspect, Thames and LWT, in both production and development roles.
Parker has joined The Greenhouse Project from her role as Assistant Producer/Director on Granada TV’s ‘Life After Coronation Street’. Recently she worked as Series Producer/Director on ‘A-Z Alternative Health’ for the new digital channel, Wellbeing, and produced a raft of ideas and formats for the channel’s launch. Parker worked in Development for Granada TV’s Factual Entertainment department for two years from 1998 and prior to this was a Director/Producer on a range of programmes for Granada TV. (CD)
