Cinegy Teams Up With ROCKET

Cinegy has announced a strategic partnership with ROCKET, a Toronto-based integrated solutions provider specialising in media and entertainment technology.

This collaboration will strengthen Cinegy's presence across the Canadian market, leveraging ROCKET’s deep industry expertise and established customer relationships to deliver innovative broadcast solutions.

With deep industry expertise and long-standing relationships in the Canadian media landscape, ROCKET is ideally positioned to introduce Cinegy's portfolio - including Cinegy Air for playout, Cinegy Capture PRO for ingest, Cinegy Multiviewer for signal monitoring, and AI-powered subtitling tools - to a broad base of content creators and broadcasters.

"We're excited to partner with ROCKET as they share our commitment to delivering practical, reliable solutions that solve real-world broadcast challenges," said Daniella Weigner, Managing Director of Cinegy. "Their deep understanding of the Canadian media landscape and proven track record in technology integration makes them the perfect partner to help Canadian broadcasters unlock the full potential of software-defined television workflows."

The partnership comes at a time when Canadian broadcasters are increasingly seeking flexible, scalable solutions that can adapt to evolving content delivery demands while maintaining operational efficiency. Cinegy's software-defined approach enables broadcasters to maximise hardware utilisation, reduce operational costs, and future-proof their infrastructure investments.

"Cinegy's innovative approach to broadcast technology aligns perfectly with our mission to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and practical content delivery solutions," said Kali Budzinski of ROCKET. "We're thrilled to bring Cinegy's proven software-defined television platform to the Canadian market, where we see tremendous opportunity to help broadcasters streamline their operations and enhance their capabilities."

ROCKET's comprehensive service offering – from initial consultation through implementation and ongoing support – complements Cinegy's technology-first approach. This partnership will enable Canadian broadcasters to access not just world-class software solutions, but also the local expertise and support needed to maximize their investment.

The collaboration reflects Cinegy's broader strategy of working with regional partners who possess deep market knowledge and strong customer relationships. Similar partnerships with companies like Scale Logic in the United States and Tyrell in the UK have proven successful in extending Cinegy's global reach while maintaining the localised support that customers value.

Cinegy will be showcasing its full product range on stand 7.A01 at IBC2025.
