Interra Systems Unveils Suite of Video QC, Monitoring And Analysis Solutions

The media landscape in the Middle East continues to see a rise in OTT platforms, regional content creation, and expanding viewer expectations, which means the demand for agile, comprehensive QC and monitoring solutions has never been more critical.
At CABSAT 2025, Interra Systems, a leading provider of end-to-end quality assurance solutions for the digital media industry, will demonstrate how the company’s continuous innovation is helping broadcasters and streaming providers — in the Middle East and beyond — ensure flawless video delivery. Visitors to Interra Systems’ stand (PD25, Shk Saeed Hall 1) will discover the company’s latest advancements in end-to-end video quality monitoring, content-aware quality control, advanced captioning, and detailed video analysis.
Celebrating 25 years of innovation this year, Interra Systems continues to play a pivotal role in the global media industry — including the rapidly growing markets in the Middle East. With a strong legacy of developing cutting-edge solutions, the company leads the way in enhancing video and audio quality across IP and OTT platforms. Its robust and scalable portfolio reflects a long-standing commitment to helping customers deliver exceptional media experiences to diverse audiences.
Interra Systems Solutions on Display at CABSAT 2025:
Outstanding Video Quality, Perfect Media Delivery With the ORION Content Monitoring Suite
At CABSAT 2025, Interra Systems will highlight the latest advancements in its award-winning ORION suite, including a new, award-winning multiviewer feature that enables real-time visualisation of multiple video and audio streams. This upgrade enhances quality control and workflow efficiency, allowing operators to quickly identify and resolve issues to maintain high broadcast integrity.
ORION-OTT continues to offer robust real-time monitoring for both linear and IP-based infrastructures, covering live and VOD assets. With flexible deployment options and broad format support, the solution now includes industry-first all-frame decoding and advanced analysis for critical channels — dramatically improving video quality checks and playback assurance.
Additional updates across the ORION suite include support for RHEL 8.10, Rocky 8.10, Dolby Atmos, and IPv6. Enhanced capabilities such as end-to-end ad insertion monitoring, closed caption availability reports, improved QoS and QoE scoring, comprehensive DRM integration, and expanded deployment flexibility further strengthen the platform’s end-to-end monitoring capabilities.
Centralised, End-to-End Workflow Visibility With ORION Central Manager (OCM)
Interra Systems’ flagship monitoring platform, OCM, offers end-to-end quality tracing to identify issues across every stage of any video workflow. New features within OCM will include advanced probe management and enhanced user group permissions that boost both operational efficiency and security.
BATON 9.2 — the latest version of the company’s industry-leading automated QC solution — will also be on display at CABSAT 2025. Key updates include enhanced autoscaling, improved 4K video quality checks, and new validations such as blank bar detection and CIE color gamut checks. BATON 9.2 also aligns with ITU-R BT.1702-2023 PSE flash guidelines and introduces algorithm enhancements across QR code detection, freeze/duplicate frames, media offline, blockiness, defective pixels, video dropouts, burnt-in text, and shot transitions.
The solution's expanded format and feature support includes Sony 360 Reality Audio, LZW-compressed TIFFs, AV1 video, BW64 audio, 24-bit LPCM in MP4, and sidecar Dolby Vision metadata. BATON 9.2 also integrates the Whisper model for audio language identification. Interra Systems has also made usability improvements to offer a streamlined installation process, new UI options with dark/light themes, a database manager tool, and more robust diagnostics and alerts. With its advanced AI and machine learning capabilities, BATON 9.2 sets a new benchmark for automated QC, delivering unmatched quality and compliance at scale.
Interra Systems will also highlight major enhancements to its award-winning BATON Captions solution, which addresses the growing demand for accurate, multilingual captioning and subtitling in broadcast and OTT content — both in the Middle East and worldwide. New features include intelligent caption placement that follows scene change guidelines to prevent overlap with burnt-in text, a common challenge in regional content delivery.
BATON Captions now offers powerful QC and correction tools leveraging advanced machine learning, automatic speech recognition, and natural language processing. A redesigned UI introduces features such as an integrated relay workflow service, vertical zoom on audio waveforms, and smart caption segmentation — automatically splitting, merging, and re-segmenting captions based on clause boundaries, row and character count, and natural pauses.
These updates are designed to help media providers across the Middle East streamline compliance, enhance accessibility, and deliver a seamless viewing experience across various languages and formats.
Setting the standard for technology in compliance, debugging, and streaming interoperability, Interra Systems' VEGA provides enhanced support for a wide array of compression standards — including VVC, AV1, HEVC, MV-HEVC, AVS3, HDR, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, ATSC 3.0, and more. VEGA ensures seamless compatibility across the latest formats.
This support strengthens VEGA's position as an essential tool for media professionals, simplifying the complexities of various video standards and guaranteeing high-quality content delivery across platforms and devices.
