Just Add Power To Showcase Its Latest Addition To The MaxColorTM Family

News Image
Just Add Power is to showcase its latest addition to the MaxColorTM family of video-over-IP innovations at ISE 2024.

Visitors to Booth 2Q500 will have the first look at the new MC-QX MaxColor 4K60 Tiling and Warping Transmitter (MC-QX). The MC-QX combines the company's MaxColor technology, 4K network video tiler, and Warp Engine technology.

"We challenged ourselves to imagine the possibilities of what MaxColor can do when coupled with our most sought-after features in a single, superior transmitter," said Ed Qualls, CEO at Just Add Power. "The result is the MC-QX, a solution that stretches the conventional boundaries of video distribution. With this new transmitter, Just Add Power offers an all-in-one solution that caters to the diverse needs of installations across various industries. Whether you're orchestrating a dynamic multiview sports environment, setting the stage in a vibrant casino, or showcasing a monumental piece of digital artwork, the MC-QX ticks all the boxes for the most robust and creative video distribution installations. It's not merely about sending video; it's about the freedom to do so seamlessly and creatively, with unlimited screens and any conceivable angle."

The MC-QX combines MaxColor with the company's award-winning tiling and warping technology in one transmitter. It allows 4K60 source devices to be displayed on a single screen instantly along with source rotation capabilities. Users can simultaneously watch up to four 4K60 video sources in multiple formats, including single-screen, video wall, or tiled video. With the MC-QX warping capability, installers can rotate any source image in a Just Add Power Matrix — cable boxes, media players, game systems, cameras, and more — in 0.1-degree increments in real time with incredibly low latency. The rotated image can then be sent to an unlimited number of receivers in the network, allowing for the creation of massive artistic video walls using a single MC-QX.

Just Add Power's award-winning MaxColor 4K60 technology was introduced in 2021 to natively support 4K60 in and out, allowing end-users to play ultra-HD video from the growing number of 4K sources and devices now available. All MaxColor products can distribute 4K60/4:4:4/36-bit-color video over a 1GB managed network using either CatX (Cat 5e minimum) cable or fiber cable, so integrators can use the cable that best fits their projects. In addition, MC-QX supports MPEG downstreaming for connected devices including laptops and tablets. The series delivers instant and seamless switching, 4K up- and downscaling, and HDR management while supporting all lossless audio formats and Dolby Vision for the best viewing experience.
