Macromedia delivers Breeze solution accelerators

Macromedia has announced the immediate availability of solution accelerators for Macromedia Breeze that enable enterprise developers to fully leverage Breeze as an integral part of their existing IT infrastructure.
The accelerators consist of sample code and documentation that allow developers to integrate Breeze web communications functionality directly with a company's existing directory services, intranet applications and portal pages.
"With Breeze, Macromedia is delivering a web communication system that can be integrated with existing enterprise assets, infrastructures and processes," said Tom Hale, general manager, Macromedia. "By investing in an open, extensible architecture, Macromedia is ensuring organisations can more easily use Breeze to open the lines of communication across the enterprise."
Macromedia Breeze is the first rich web communication system that enables organisations to communicate, collaborate and train via a single, easy-to-use, integrated solution that includes everything from live meetings to on-demand presentations. The solution accelerators provide a variety of integration options including synchronising Breeze with employee directories, such as LDAP. Breeze content and scheduling information can be made available on external or internal websites and portals using Java, ColdFusion and .NET implementations.
