VICON Motion Systems, the leading developer of professional motion capture systems, have announced that over 1000 award-winning MCams have been sold worldwide alongside Vicon motion capture systems in the camera’s first year of production. Vicon has installed MCams in world leading feature film and television effects, game development and educational facilities including Industrial Light & Magic, Sony Computer Entertainment of America, Midway Games, USC School of Cinema and Television, Ohio State University, House of Moves, Konami, Namco, Blur Studios, Red Eye Studios, Attitude Studio and many others.
Motion capture service bureaus serving customers with a wide variety of animation needs in film, gaming, broadcast and multimedia have also discovered the benefits of working with Vicon’s MCams.
