Jacqui Oatley MBE To Commentate Sky Sports’ Barclays FA WSL Coverage

The Sky Sports Barclays FA Women's Super League talent line-up has welcomed the addition of experienced football broadcaster and commentator Jacqui Oatley MBE.

Oatley is the latest addition to the recently announced team of expert pundit Karen Carney, presenter Caroline Barker, reporter Lynsey Hooper and commentator Seb Hutchinson.

As a former player and FA qualified coach, Oatley has commentated on and presented several major football tournaments, including men’s and women’s FIFA World Cups and UEFA European Championships, as well as the Olympic Games.

An expert in her field and a valued member of the Sky Sports team, Oatley is a natural choice to lead the commentary for the Barclays FA WSL on Sky Sports.

Oatley said: "I'm absolutely delighted to have been asked to commentate on Sky Sports’ coverage of the Barclays FA WSL. The new broadcast deal will provide us with a wonderful opportunity to offer in-depth technical analysis of the women’s game, as well as showcase the league to a whole new audience. The women’s game has developed an enormous amount since I first started covering it in 2004 and I’m excited to be involved in this new chapter which will see the league and players elevated to greater prominence."

Award-winning broadcaster and journalist Jess Creighton will also present Inside the WSL, a comprehensive round up of all things Barclays FA WSL and women's football. Airing weekly from Thursday 9th September on Sky Sports Premier League, the half an hour show will review and preview matches, include short form storytelling and exclusive player interviews.
