Ncam Announces Partnership Agreement With B&H
Ncam Technologies has announced a partnership agreement with B&H that sees the Studio division of B&H become an authorized dealer for Ncam solutions in North America and its New York demo center showcase Ncam technology.
At SIGGRAPH 2019, Ncam will present the latest version of its camera tracking solution, Ncam Reality 2019.1. This major new release, which debuted at NAB 2019, includes more than 80 new features as well as significant system optimization for improved performance and enhanced capabilities to enable the pre-visualization of visual effects. Ncam Reality 2019.1 forms part of a technology showcase on the B&H booth 809.
The new version of Ncam Reality sees added support for the Extreme Camera Bar, an additional functionality that enables users to track environments that are subject to dynamic lighting changes. This new feature is particularly useful for productions using practical effects, explosions, moving lights and fast lighting changes.
Lens profiling of cine lenses and calibration of the Ncam Reality camera bar has also been refined to improve tracking quality and speed up the setup process. The number of supported video capture cards has also increased with the addition of support for Blackmagic Design's DecLink SDI 4K video card supplementing the existing support for AJA Corvid 44 and Kona 4 video cards.
