Celebro Media Appoints Former BBC News Executive

Celebro Media has appointed former BBC News Executive Sarah Gibson as its new Chief Operating Officer.

Ms Gibson has a strong track record in change, project delivery and running large teams in multiple locations. A highly experienced journalist, editor and senior leader, she has launched multiple language TV bulletins, run BBC World Service languages, and managed international bureaux for BBC News.

In addition to her work with the BBC, where she also ran operations in Russia, she has a strong interest in diversity and is President of the Worldwide Association of Women Journalists and Writers. She sits on the Council of the University of Kent.

Celebro CEO Wesley Dodd said: "I am thrilled that Sarah is coming on board. Celebro has ambitious expansion plans and it's exactly the right time to bring someone with Sarah's experience into the company. She'll be leading day to day operations, whilst I concentrate on growing the business internationally. My first priorities are launching new studios in LA and Washington very soon."
