Hamlet To Bring Established And New Solutions To BVE

News Image
Hamlet has announced that it is "pleased" to be at the BVE show in London's dockland once again and said that if you missed out on visiting them at IBC last year, "don't miss out on this opportunity right on your doorstep".

Hamlet, a leader in the field of broadcast test and measurement, is known for its inventive solutions, cost effective pricing, and continues to supply broadcasters worldwide with its staple rack and handheld measurement instruments.

During BVE Hamelt said that it was also very pleased to be able to supply an alternative source of broadcast matrix switcher and ranges that are the preferred choice of well-known system installers.

The new MSC-XDM modular SDI Routers offer extremely high levels of routing flexibility, with a choice of 3 base models enabling optimization of operation and unit cost. Each unit is user expandable, with system sizes up to 16x16, 32x32, and 64x64, in 1RU, 2RU or 4RU of rack space. Base system frames include dual redundant power supplies and cross point hardware, requiring only additional customer selected I/O hardware.

Modular systems can be independently expanded by 8 input or 8 output Modular I/O cards, allowing for asymmetrical matrix sizes. I/O cards types include 75 Ohm BNC and SFP module cards which can be mixed without restriction. When utilizing SFP modules, matrix sizes are configurable down to a single input or output. Cost competitive SFP Modules for Fibre Optic and HDMI options further enhance flexibility. Industry standard MSA compatible modules can also be used.

The new MSC-UXD 12G-SDI UHD routing switchers are currently available in 8x8, 8x4, and 4x4 matrix sizes and offer support for 4K and UHD SDI formats and are backwards compatible with 6G, 3G, 1.5G and SD rates. So whether your project requires 6G or 12G rates, or you want to future proof your SDI infrastructure, we have the solution for you. The MSC-UXD range have a new higher performance control system with a more compact design, while providing increased control performance and a reduction in unit cost.
