RED Digital Cinema To Feature At CINEC 2016
RED Digital Cinema has confirmed it will showcase its range of DSMC2 cameras at CINEC 2016, 17 – 19 September, Hall 2, Stand C01.
The cameras on display include RED RAVEN 4.5K, SCARLET-W 5K, WEAPON 6K, WEAPON 8K VV, and the limited edition white WEAPON 8K S35 which features RED's newest sensor, HELIUM.
The DSMC2 cameras are capable of shooting simultaneously in REDCODE RAW and Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHD/HR. In addition, WEAPONs with a RED DRAGON 8K VV sensor feature up to 75 fps at 8K resolution, 35 megapixel stills from motion, 300 fps at 2K resolution and fast data speeds (up to 300 MB/s).
Also at CINEC, on 17 September at 1.15pm, Markus Förderer BVK, will share his recent experience shooting the feature film Independence Day: Resurgence on RED cameras. He will review the production's onset workflow, his personal workflow with REDCODE RAW files in REDCINE-X, and showcase the RED WEAPON 8K VV camera.
