The Furchester Hotel Returns To dock10
The Furchester Hotel has returned to dock10 for its third and fourth series, it has been announced.
dock10 will provide studio facilities and post-production services for the show, which is a CBeebies and Sesame Workshop co-production. Series three and four are being produced concurrently, totalling 50x11' episodes. There will also be a 22-minute Christmas special. The shows are scheduled for broadcast on CBeebies later this year.
Andy Waters, Head of Studios, said: "The complex sets required to accommodate the puppeteers and their counterparts means that HQ2 suits The Furchester Hotel completely. [Studio] HQ2 boasts a full complement of scenery hoists, as well as being one of the most technically advanced studios in the UK, with connectivity for 12 camera channels, file-based HD workflows system and advanced lighting. It's great to have the residents of The Furchester Hotel back at dock10."
At 7,500 sq ft, HQ2 is dock10's second largest studio, and the Furchester set fills the entire space.
