Softimage update flagship software line up

Softimage have produced a line of software to boost the 3D requirements of professionals in a wide range of media.
The company, a subsidiary of Avid Technology, recently announced the introduction of Workstation and Enterprise options to bring a lower-priced entry point for smaller production operations. The more flexible network models are aimed to meet the needs of operations distributed workflows and 3D pipelines.
Softimage XS Essentials has been designed to deliver a comprehensive non-linear animation production environment. The product can also offer a full suite of modelling and animation tools, coupled with the industry's most efficient rigging tools and only interactive rendering solution for high-powered photo-realistic images.
Softimage XS Advanced has been created with power and performance in mind, and offers the industry's only interactive rendering solution for improved creative capabilities.
