Rear Window to expand wireless work

Rear Window Television, the OB facilities company behind V Graham Norton’s ‘Webcam’, has been using the time between series to develop a new Wireless Director Assist package that it hopes will revolutionise this aspect of the film industry.
The system has already been successfully used on locations around the UK during the filming of one of this year’s most eagerly awaited movies. The digital transmission system allows the Director to keep his feet firmly on the ground while the camera is mounted on fast moving vehicles in tough environments, like city streets.
Because of the new digital microwave transmission technology, the images seen live at the receiver are rock-solid with the camera moving around corners, over hills and through trees. The system performs well when traditional wireless systems and even analogue microwave links would have failed – even capable of working with the camera several kilometers away.
Suited to mounting on any moving vehicle - cars, boats or aircraft - the system is simply packaged featuring just ‘power’ and ‘video-in’ connectors, is very light, fitted in minutes and extremely simple to use.
