Video Europe Launches VE Crew

News Image
Broadcast equipment hire company Video Europe has launched a new division to service the fast-growing crew and location facilities market.
The new division, VE Crew, will be led by newly appointed Managing Director (MD) Will Wilkinson.

Will was MD of Cruet and brings with him his key team and experience, which will be a huge asset to VE Crew and the Video Europe group of companies.

Video Europe Group Managing Director Steve Green said: "Will joining the Video Europe Group and helping us launch VE Crew is fantastic news. Will and his team are recognised throughout the industry as the best in the business, having worked on programmes like The Apprentice and MasterChef and we are confident that VE Crew will hit the ground running."

The launch of VE Crew sees the company investment over the last two years exceed £10m on the latest equipment and three all-new outside broadcast units.

Will Wilkinson, Managing Director of VE Crew, added "Video Europe has a hard- earned reputation as the leading equipment hire company in the UK, and its investment in new equipment over the last few years reinforces this reputation. Adding VE Crew to the Video Europe Group is a huge step forwards and we're confident the group will go from strength to strength."
