Munro Acoustics create an acoustic benchmark in Boston
UK Studio design company Munro Acoustics has completed the acoustic upgrade of the main control room at Boston Skyline Studios, a two-studio facility in the city's historic Back Bay area.
Munro Acoustics also installed and aligned a pair of customised Dynaudio Acoustics M4+ monitors, finished in cherry wood. The refurbishment of the control room involved re-building the front wall to accommodate the new M4s and to ensure optimum performance between the monitors and the room acoustics.
Boston Skyline Studios, owned by Todd Harris and Peter Peloquin, has been established to bring new levels of acoustics, equipment, expertise and customer service to artists in New England, across the country and around the world. Its world-class facility has been designed and built to serve the entire music industry, not just the New England market. Over a million dollars have been spent on renovating the two-studio complex.
According to Harris and Peloquin, the inclusion of Munro-designed acoustics and Dynaudio M4 monitors has transformed Boston Skyline into the finest acoustic facility in New England.
