Soho Editors Hosts AVID Everywhere Event

Soho Editors has announced it will be hosting an AVID Everywhere event in Bristol on 24 June, powered by Hewlett Packard. The event will feature technology from Sonnet, Blackmagic Design and Quadrus.

Also attending will be The Studio People, one of the UK's leading experts in studio design, construction and acoustic treatments and sound isolation.
Throughout the day there will be seminars introducing delegates to Avid Media Composer, Protools 11 and DaVinci Resolve 10.
The event will also be offering a screening of England's World Cup match against Costa Rica, in a bid to avoid any potential attendees missing the game.
The event is free and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
It takes place at the Watershed, 1 Canons Road, Bristol, BS1 5TX, from 10:00 until 19:00, with the first seminar at 10:30.
The schedule is as follows:

10:30AM – 12:00PM - Introducing Avid Media Composer & Protolols 11 and S6 Console

1:00PM - 2:00PM - Introducing DaVinci Resolve 10 – Edit Grade & Deliver

3:00PM - 4:30PM - Introducing Avid Media Composer & Protools 11 and S6 Console

5:00PM - 7:00PM - Live World Cup ENGLAND Vs COSTA RICA, drinks and snacks

Attendees will also be able to get up close and personal with a range of cutting edge tech from Hewlett Packard, Sonnet's PCIe to Thunderbolt expanders and RAID storage, Avid Protools and Avid's S6 Console and Interplay, Blackmagic Designs cameras and video ingest kit and Quadrus ingest solutions for Avid Media Composer.
