Sundance Digital and Quantel partner for newsroom productivity

Sundance Digital and Quantel have announced a partnership that integrates Sundance’s NewsLink newsroom automation system with Quantel’s generationQ news and live production systems.
NewsLink is a newsroom automation package for competitive digital news operations, that supplies enhanced integration and database tools linking MOS?compliant newsroom computers with video servers and editors, as well as with new or legacy graphics devices.
To increase on-air productivity and improve the on-air look, NewsLink tracks changes to the rundown, updates each media device, and communicates the status of all device channels via a single consolidated user interface.
Quantel’s generationQ for news and live production is a totally scalable solution, designed to meet the operational requirements of any broadcaster at a cost-effective price.
The Quantel news solution is based around the sQServer, with its unique Frame Magic media management, for error-free live broadcasting.
