Scottish Screen announce Tartan Smalls winners

Scottish Screen have announced that three Tartan Smalls projects have been selected to go into production this year.
The first film, 'The Choir', centres on a young boy who just wants to be one of the 'hard lads' at school. When he starts at a new school, he just might get his chance to build his reputation – however, first of all he must resist the lure of joining the choir. 'The Choir' is written and directed by Angela Murray and produced by Robbie Sandison.
'Inside An Uncle', the second film, is written and directed by David Cairns and produced by Nigel Smith. A free-wheeling comedy, the film focuses on the theory that inside every adult, there's a small child working the controls.
The final film is 'Recycled, a strange tale about killer wheelie bins, written by David Ferguson and directed by Jacqui McAlpine.
Scottish Screen confirmed that all three projects are to go into production this summer.
