2013 International Digital EMMY® Winners Announced

The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has revealed the winners of the International Digital Emmy® Awards at a ceremony attended by over 300 international executives from the television, broadband, and mobile industries.
The Children & Young People category was won by dirtgirlworld… dig it all (mememe productions/dirtgirlworld productions/Screen Australia), a transmedia project featuring apps that kids can use in nature.
Guidestones (3 o'clock.tv/iThentic,) a series about two journalism students who uncover a global conspiracy while investigating an unsolved murder, won the Fiction category.
Entertainment Experience (FCCE/Ziggo), which follows the development and production process of a user-generated movie by Hollywood director Paul Verhoeven, won the Non-Fiction category.
This year’s Pioneer Prize was presented to Anthony E. Zuiker, the creator of the CSI franchise, for his contributions to the field of digital entertainment with his online thriller, Cybergeddon.
"With cutting-edge concepts and technology that pushes every frontier, these Emmy® winners brilliantly demonstrate the wonderful versatility of multiplatform storytelling," said Bruce L. Paisner, President & CEO of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, who presented the Pioneer Prize to Zuiker.
