NuMedia Mini Converters are enabled with the world's first implementation of Back-Channel Audio on Broadcast SDI links.
SDI links are ubiquitous within broadcast to enable the point-to-point transport of video and embedded audio. NuMedia cable extenders allow existing copper infrastructure to be reused to transport higher resolutions and image formats, thus avoiding the need for costly recabling and infrastructure upgrade.
The NEW HDX range of cable extenders and distribution amplifiers allow high quality audio to be simultaneously transported in the reverse direction to the video and embedded audio.
