Samsung Set To Invest £27bn In Expansion
Samsung have announced that they plan to invest a record amount of £27bn this year to expand its various businesses.
It is understood the tech-titan will invest in the upgrade of its factories and equipment as well as research and development.
The investment comes at a time when rival firms are cutting back to deal with times of economic uncertainty. The world’s biggest maker of TV’s and memory chips however claims to have strong cash flow and said it is "willing to make bold bets to get in new technology".
Samsung remains as South Korea’s largest business conglomerate and expects that it will employ a further 26,000 employees this year.
