Jünger's Loudness Compliance Toolkit On Offer

A Berlin-based audio firm, Jünger Audio has risen to the compliance challenge set by the EBU's latest loudness recommendations with a toolkit of 8, 4 and 2 channel digital audio processors.
Each processor incorporates Jünger's Level Magic II loudness control algorithm that complies with EBU R128, ITU and ATSC A/85 broadcast audio recommendations. R128 specifies that Programme Loudness Levels should be normalised to a Target Level of -23.0 LUFS (Loudness Units referenced to Full scale).
Jünger's newly released software Loudness Logger is a valuable addition to the Loudness toolkit and can be used with T*AP, D*AP and C8086+ (the Level Magic Surround Processor component of the modular C8000 system).
Loudness Logger monitors, logs and analyses loudness using measurement data from Level Magic II loudness control. It provides live metering and scrolling graphs of input, output and processing values and off line analysis of log files.
Shipping late November, the D*AP LM4 is a 4 channel processor that replaces Jünger's legendary B46. Designed for television broadcasters and post production that need to control loudness in production, playout or distribution, the LM4 can process 4 channels of audio from 3G capable SDI, AES or analogue connections.
In addition, for operational peace of mind, the LM4 includes power-fail bypass on all the I/O and is available with either single or dual power supplies.
The T*AP is an 8 channel Loudness Manager and processor that will, in Q1 2013, include Spectral Signature a Channel 'character' tool.
