History Continues International Distribution Growth

History, the flagship channel of leading media content company, A+E Networks, has secured further distribution in Hungary through an agreement with Antenna Hungária. The channel is now available to Antenna Hungária subscribers on its DTT MinDig TV Extra service.
In Central Europe, History is operated by A+E Networks UK, a joint venture between A+E Networks and BSkyB.
Home of top rated shows such as Pawn Stars, Ice Road Truckers and 102 Minutes That Changed The World, it is the leading destination for revealing, award-winning original non-fiction series and event specials that connect history with viewers in an informative, immersive and entertaining manner.
Through contemporary filmmaking techniques, vivid reconstruction and gripping narrative, it transports you into the thick of the action. The programming covers a diverse variety of historical genres ranging from military history to contemporary history, technology to natural history, as well as science, archaeology and pop culture.
