Peli Products Expands European Manufacturing Operations

Peli Products, a leading provider of high-performance case solutions and advanced portable lighting systems expands its European manufacturing operations in Germany.
Since October 2007, the company has been producing injection-moulded Peli Protector Case models at the manufacturing site of its German partner in Germany.
The company has announced that German production will be enlarged to include the roto-mould of Peli-Hardigg Cases, offering a variety of more than 100 models with a selection of 13 different colours.
Piero Marigo, Managing Director of Peli Products, said: "The roto-moulded case range is a very important part of our European business. Considering the current injection moulding production in Germany, plus this new range, we will have a substantial part of our EMEA Sales produced in Germany. That will create a work force increase in Germany plus some substantial investments in machinery and equipment. By enlarging our European manufacturing, we are providing our customers with better service which will better facilitate cooperation with our Engineering and Production teams when developing special projects for them."
With over 50 years of experience and more than 500 standard-sized cases, Peli-Hardigg Advanced Case Solutions Technical Teams, located in Ashford (United Kingdom) and Paris (France) design and manufacture reusable shipping and storage cases and containers meeting the most extreme operating conditions. An experienced technical team of over 30 engineers and technicians design containers according to customer specifications and anticipating deployment conditions.
Peli-Hardigg containers are used to protect special equipment for NATO operations, and are used for deployment by most of the European Nations Defence Forces, they are also used in a widely diverse range of commercial applications such as protection for Fly-away Satcom gear and test equipment for the offshore industry.
