Tarsem Singh Uses Chameleon System In Immortals

The pre-viz system Chameleon has been used by director Tarsem Singh in the making of Immortals, the $80 million feature shot in Montreal, which tells the tale of the battle of Theseus against the imprisoned titans.
Singh wanted to see the result of live-action and CG composites on-set. He also wanted the creative freedom to make frame adjustments during the shoot and monitor the changes to perspective, also in real-time.
The providers of advanced robotics and visualisation systems for the film industry, Mo-Sys, specifically created the Chameleon for green screen filming. Tried and tested on Hollywood sets, the Chameleon was brought in as the ideal solution.
Through a partnership between Mo-Sys and Live Vision studios, the Chameleon is now available as part of a complete solution for green screen production.
The system will be showcased at the Production Show, Earls Court during the 15th, 16th and 17th February, where visitors will get the chance to try it out themselves.
