DVB pavilion at IBC 2002

At this year's IBC, DVB will host the "DVB Pavilion" where visitors will find a variety of DVB and Multimedia Home Platform (MHP) demonstrations.
DVB specifications and other documentation will be readily available and DVB experts will be on hand to answer questions concerning MHP and other DVB specifications.
DVB's MHP is fast becoming the world standard for interactive television services and significant advancements towards bringing full interactive/enhanced television and Internet services to consumers will be featured. Everything from applications and authoring tools to content management solutions will be on show emphasising the power of MHP. There will be demos from ADB (Advanced Digital Broadcasting), Alticast, SCM Microsystems and IMK (Institut für Medien und Kommunikation).
Also featured will be a HiTop DTV portable receiver and the new low-cost Pace/Xcom Digital Terrestrial Adapter that converts an ordinary analogue television into a DTV receiver for free-to-air services. Runcom will be demonstrating DVB-T Return Channel technology.
Other DVB members and exhibitors will be highlighting DVB and MHP technologies on their respective stands throughout the exhibition halls.
