Broadpeak Integrates CDN Platform With Inlet Technologies

Broadpeak has announced the completion of integration between Mediator, its content delivery network (CDN) management system and Inlet Technologies' Spinnaker live streaming appliances.
The tight integration enables a turnkey Web TV offering for multichannel providers, such as cable and telco operators and network service providers worldwide, who are looking to provide access to their content via the Web for existing subscribers or to new subscribers via an over-the-top application.
Advanced redundancy between the technologies from Broadpeak and Inlet ensures highly reliable, high-performance adaptive nitrate (ABR) encoding from Inlet that powers the delivery of content over IP networks provided by Broadpeak. The easy to operate, pre-configured system dramatically trims deployment time and eliminates costs for integration and troubleshooting. The Broadpeak system also features advanced monitoring of the encoded content to ensure quality and network performance.
