Stickman Audio Celebrates Fight Success

A US-based company Stickman Sound has been working on two prominent programmes.
Employing the comprehensive RockNet 100 system for routing, monitoring and recording of all audio for various broadcast applications, the Las Vegas business has been working on the second season of TLC's Ultimate Cake Off and the eleventh season of Ultimate Fighter on Spike TV.
Ultimate Fighter is a prestigious production already in its eleventh season where Stickman Sound utilized ten RockNet 100 devices for a total of more than 90 cast, surveillance and fight FX microphones.
They said that all audio is multitracked via two Yamaha DM2000 with two RN.141.MY expansion cards for each console.
Fernando Delgado, Chief Engineer /Owner of Stickman Sound said: "Every show is completely different.
"RockNet's Sound quality, flexibility and size allow us to execute the most technical shoots, in the most remote locations with ease.
"Inputs and outputs, head amp control and routing can be added and configured very quickly.
"It's elevated our game and changed the way we design shows," he said.
"Moving forward with RockNet we believe will keep us, and our clients, ahead of the curve for years to come, Stickman Sound's other equipment on the Ultimate Cake Off consists of two RockNet 100 RN.101.IO modules, which provide the inputs needed for 18 wireless microphones used by the show's hosts and guests.
"Six RN.141.MY expansion cards integrate two Yamaha DM 1000 mixing consoles and one Yamaha DM2000 into the RockNet audio network.
"They provide six stereo mixes to camera as well as one IFB mix and a 28 channel multitrack system," he concluded.
