ITC appoint new regional manager for London and the South

The ITC has appointed Kate Reid as the new regional manager for London and the South.
Reid will be responsible for liasing with the two London ITV licensees, Carlton and LWT and will manage public affairs projects in the region.
Reid has over ten years' experience of television broadcasting both in the UK and overseas. She joins the ITC from her role as a senior current affairs producer at Ulster Television (UTV) in Northern Ireland.
Reporting to Jean Young, Head of ITC South, Reid's appointment underlines the ITC's commitment to supporting its regional centres. Reid will spend time each week in both the ITC's main offices in London and Winchester.
Welcoming the appointment Jean Young, Head of ITC South, said: "Kate will play a key role in promoting the ITC's commitment to high quality public service broadcasting in the regions. She brings frontline experience of working in regional television to the ITC, and an understanding of the challenges in creating high quality regional programmes."
